New York High School Basketball - Marlboro Central nips New Paltz

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Marlboro Central Dukes basketball team scored a close 58-52 win over the New Paltz Huguenots.
The Dukes (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Spackenkill edged Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY), 57-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Huguenots battle the Ellenville Blue Devils (Ellenville, NY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. New Paltz will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 44-39 league win over Dover (Dover Plains, NY).
