The Ripon Indians smashed the visiting Sonora Wildcats soccer team by a tally of 5-1 in Friday's league game.
Next, the Indians face the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a test, on Wednesday, January 15. Ripon will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA).
The Wildcats now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ripon Christian for a test on Friday, January 17. Sonora will clash with a Knights team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Orestimba (Newman, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
