The Orestimba Warriors soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Hughson Huskies to 3 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Ripon Christian for a Trans Valley League bout on Wednesday, January 15. Orestimba will play a Knights squad coming off a 5-5 league Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Hughson moves to 4-10 on the year. The Huskies travel to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA) to play the Yellowjackets in a Trans Valley League bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Hilmar lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Orestimba (Newman, CA)
