Wisconsin High School Basketball - Lake Mills thwarts DeForest

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lake Mills L-Cats (Lake Mills, WI) and the host DeForest Norskies (DeForest, WI), observed Lake Mills's basketball team knock off DeForest by a score of 66-55.

The L-Cats (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshall (Marshall, WI). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Marshall thwarted Belleville (Belleville, WI), 94-49, in a league battle.

The Norskies now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McFarland for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 13. DeForest will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 94-63 non-league win over Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 9-1.
