The Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) basketball felled the host Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX), 44-32 in Tuesday's league test.

The Owls (13-7) will now prepare for their test against University (Waco, TX). The Trojans go into the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 10-13 record. In their last test, University was beaten by Midlothian (Midlothian, TX), 62-42, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ennis for a 5A Region II District 14 test on Friday, January 14. Corsicana will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 62-57 league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Lions record now stands at 11-10.
