The Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) basketball crushed the host Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 61-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pioneers (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI). The Cardinals go into the Catholic Intersectional I test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Cardinal Mooney Catholic walloped Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI), 61-56, in a league test.
The Cranes now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greenhills for a Catholic Intersectional I test on Friday, January 14. Cranbrook Kingswood will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 61-54 league win over Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Gryphons record now stands at 4-0.
