Missouri High School Basketball - Monroe City crushes Hannibal

Monroe City Panthers (Monroe City, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hannibal Pirates (Hannibal, MO), 60-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monroe City upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Panthers host Clark County (Kahoka, MO) to play the Indians in a Clarence Cannon bout on Thursday, January 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Clark County lost 50-36 in their recent non-league bout against Knox County (Edina, MO)
Next up, the Pirates play the Kirksville Tigers (Kirksville, MO) in a North Central Missouri bout, on Friday, January 14. Hannibal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
