Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) and the host Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC), saw Philip Simmons's basketball squad wallop Lake Marion by a tally of 69-39.
With the victory, Philip Simmons improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Iron Horses host Timberland (St. Stephen, SC) to play the Wolves in a AA Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 14. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Timberland lost 61-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Cane Bay (Summerville, SC)
Next up, the Gators play the Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 21. Lake Marion will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
