In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Athens Academy Spartans basketball team scored a good 59-44 win over the Tallulah Falls Indians.
With the win, Athens Academy upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Spartans host Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA) to clash with the Wolverines in a A Private Region 8 bout on Friday, January 14. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 6-5.

The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 39-33 non-league loss to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).
