The Battery Creek Dolphins basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Hanahan Hawks to 25 in the Dolphins league victory on Tuesday.

The Dolphins now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop England for a AAA Region 8 contest on Friday, January 14. Battery Creek will battle a Battling Bishops team coming off a 71-11 league win over Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops record now stands at 8-6.

The Hawks (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Landsharks come into the AAA Region 8 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Oceanside Collegiate Academy prevailed over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 34-33, in a non-league contest.
