The Whitesboro Bearcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Boyd Yellowjackets to 20 in the Bearcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponder for a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, January 14. Whitesboro will meet a Lions team coming off a 80-29 league win over Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Lions record now stands at 13-11.
The Yellowjackets (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Callisburg was routed by Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX), 44-38, in a league contest.
