Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Williamsburg Blue Pirates (Williamsburg, PA) and the host Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA), saw Williamsburg's basketball squad wallop Curwensville by a tally of 74-25.
With the victory, Williamsburg improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Blue Pirates travel to Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA) to confront the Black Knights/Damsels in a Moshannon Valley challenge on Friday, January 14. The Black Knights/Damsels come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Moshannon Valley won 39-36 in their recent league challenge against Harmony Area (Westover, PA)
Next up, the Golden Tide confront the Harmony Area Owls (Westover, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 17. Curwensville will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 39-36 league loss to Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA).
