The West Ottawa Panthers basketball team (Holland, MI), was nudged 51-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Grand Haven Buccaneers (Grand Haven, MI)
The Buccaneers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caledonia for a Ottawa-Kent - Red battle on Friday, January 14. Grand Haven will battle a Fighting Scots team coming off a 47-30 league loss to Jenison (Jenison, MI). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 3-4.
The Panthers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jenison (Jenison, MI). The Wildcats come into the Ottawa-Kent - Red battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Jenison edged Caledonia (Caledonia, MI), 47-30, in a league battle.
