Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI), 66-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Saline upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Monroe (Monroe, MI) to play the Trojans in a Southeastern - Red bout on Friday, January 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Monroe won 56-38 in their recent league bout against Pinckney (Pinckney, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Ypsilanti Grizzlies (Ypsilanti, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Skyline will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 62-27 league loss to Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI).
