Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL), 34-30 in a league bout.
With the victory, Thompson upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Warriors host Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a 7A Area 5 bout on Thursday, January 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-15. Oak Mountain lost 71-32 in their recent league bout against Hoover (Hoover, AL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a 7A Area 5 bout, on Friday, January 21. Tuscaloosa County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record.
