American Leadership Academy Patriots (Queen Creek, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ), 55-36 in a league bout.

With the win, American Leadership Academy upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Patriots host Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Sabercats in a bout on Friday, January 14. The Sabercats go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Saguaro lost 39-36 in their recent non-league bout against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA)

Next up, the Padres play the Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 27. Marcos de Niza will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
