Arizona High School Basketball - Agua Fria crushes Goldwater

Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), 78-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Agua Fria upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Owls host Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ) to play the Skyhawks in a 4A West Valley bout on Thursday, January 12. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Deer Valley lost 59-53 in their recent league bout against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ) in a 4A West Valley bout, on Thursday, January 12. Goldwater will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 84-65 league win over Cactus (Glendale, AZ).
