In Wednesday's league outing, the Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) basketball squad beat the host Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), by a margin of 81-68.

The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots go into the Bay Valley outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Heritage defeated Freedom (Oakley, CA), 49-42, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsburg for a Bay Valley outing on Friday, January 13. Deer Valley will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 77-52 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 11-6.
