The Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) basketball nipped the host Tuckerman Bulldogs (Tuckerman, AR), 55-51 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region 3 test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Buffalo Island Central got by Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR), 63-53, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they host Cave City for a 3A Region 2 test on Friday, January 13. Tuckerman will encounter a Cavemen squad coming off a 61-50 league loss to Hoxie (Hoxie, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 3-12.
