The Bolsa Grande Matadors tipped the host Los Amigos Lobos basketball team by a final score of 52-46 in Wednesday's league game.
In their next game, the Matadors face the La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) in a Garden Grove battle, on Thursday, January 12. Bolsa Grande will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Aztecs come into the battle with a 9-12 record after their 59-50 league win over Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA).
The Lobos (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against Santiago (Garden Grove, CA). The Cavaliers come into the Garden Grove battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Santiago was nudged by Loara (Anaheim, CA), 80-62, in a league battle.
