In Wednesday's league outing, the South River Rams (South River, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Carteret Ramblers (Carteret, NJ), by a count of 72-42.
The Rams (14-0) will now prepare for their outing against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ). The Chiefs go into the non-league outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Piscataway was crushed by Colonia (Colonia, NJ), 60-46, in a non-league outing.
The Ramblers now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Metuchen for a Greater Middlesex - Blue outing on Friday, January 13. Carteret will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-49 non-league win over Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
