The Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) basketball felled the host Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA), 47-36 in Wednesday's league test.
The Red Devils (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers go into the South Bay test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Hilltop went down by Southwest SD (San Diego, CA), 65-58, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Classical Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Castle Park will encounter a Caimans squad coming off a 71-50 league win over San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA). The Caimans record now stands at 7-7.
