Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL), 61-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Rockets host Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Thunder come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Woodstock North won 62-38 in their recent league bout against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) in a Fox Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. Huntley will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 46-41 league win over Cary-Grove (Cary, IL).
