California High School Basketball - Cindy Avitia crushes Luis Valdez Leadership Academy

Cindy Avitia Jaguars (San Jose, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions (San Jose, CA), 68-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cindy Avitia upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Latino College Preparatory Academy (San Jose, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a Private School - South bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Lions play the Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 76-41 league win over Eastside College Prep (East Palo Alto, CA).
