Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD), 45-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Jaguars host Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to clash with the Screamin' Eagles in a Montgomery 4A West bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Screamin' Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Seneca Valley lost 76-57 in their recent league bout against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD)

Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Clarksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 75-32 league win over Rockville (Rockville, MD).
