In Wednesday's league outing, the Cossatot River Eagles (Cove, AR) basketball squad felled the host Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR), by a margin of 54-45.
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Gators go into the 3A Region 4 outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Two Rivers was beaten by Hackett (Hackett, AR), 61-23, in a league outing.
The Little Johns now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cedarville for a 3A Region 4 outing on Wednesday, January 25.
