The Covington Cougars (Covington, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), 70-32 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Green Waves go into the Pioneer test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Narrows walloped Giles (Pearisburg, VA), 83-68, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Clay County for a non-league test on Friday, February 3.
