The Crystal Lake South Gators basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting McHenry Warriors to 26 in the Gators league triumph on Wednesday.

The Gators now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampshire for a Fox Valley contest on Friday, January 13. Crystal Lake South will meet a Whip-Purs team coming off a 66-38 league win over Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 9-9.

The Warriors (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 0-20 record. In their last contest, Marengo was routed by Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL), 61-42, in a league contest.
