With the victory, Southwestern Randolph improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Trinity (Trinity, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Conference 31 test on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 14-4. Trinity won 67-55 in their recent league test against Randleman (Randleman, NC)

The Golden Eagles now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to West Davidson for a 1A/2A Conference 33 test on Friday, January 13. East Davidson will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 83-37 league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 2-15.
