The Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA), 73-40 in Wednesday's league test.
The Broncos (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Eagles go into the Tri-Rivers test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Greensville County walloped Windsor (Windsor, VA), 68-56, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Windsor for a Tri-Rivers test on Friday, January 13. Sussex Central will encounter a Dukes squad coming off a 68-56 league loss to Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 6-5.
