The Peninsula Seahawks basketball team (Gig Harbor, WA), was routed 76-30 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA)
The Tides now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Stevens for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Gig Harbor will battle a Vikings team coming off a 77-54 league loss to Jackson (Mill Creek, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-4.
The Seahawks (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA). The Cougars come into the 3A South Sound battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Central Kitsap was routed by Capital (Olympia, WA), 65-34, in a league battle.
