The Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) basketball felled the host Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), 59-48 in Wednesday's league test.

The Clippers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Islanders go into the Bay Rivers test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Poquoson was beaten by Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA), 40-30, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to York for a Bay Rivers test on Friday, January 13. Jamestown will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 63-61 league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-5.
