Grangeville Bulldogs (Grangeville, ID) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Timberline Spartans (Weippe, ID), 52-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grangeville upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Kellogg (Kellogg, ID) to clash with the Wildcats in a 2A Central Idaho bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Kellogg won 56-43 in their recent league bout against St. Maries (St. Maries, ID)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Nezperce Nighthawks (Nezperce, ID) in a 1A White Pine bout, on Thursday, January 12. Timberline will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
