North Carolina High School Basketball - Halifax Academy topples Southampton Academy

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA), by a count of 66-47.

The Vikings (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 11-1 record.

The Raiders now hold a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Amelia Academy for a VISAA Division IV outing on Friday, January 13. Southampton Academy will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 68-59 league loss to Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-8.
