Texas High School Basketball - Lamar crushes Houston Math Science & Tech

Lamar Texans (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers (Houston, TX), 82-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lamar upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Chavez (Houston, TX) to play the Lobos in a 6A Region III District 18 bout on Friday, January 13. The Lobos come into the bout with a record of 9-14. Chavez won 58-48 in their recent league bout against Houston Math Science & Tech (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Bellaire Cardinals (Bellaire, TX) in a 6A Region III District 18 bout, on Friday, January 13. Houston Math Science & Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 66-48 league win over Westbury (Houston, TX).
