With the victory, Humphreys County upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS) to play the Panthers in a 3A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 12-7. Amanda Elzy won 64-32 in their recent league bout against Winona (Winona, MS)

Next up, the Panthers play the Winona Tigers (Winona, MS) in a 3A Region 3 bout, on Saturday, January 14. Yazoo County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 64-32 league loss to Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS).
