The Lakeview Charter Lions basketball team (Sylmar, CA), was nudged 42-40 in Wednesday's league battle with the host North Valley Military Institute Hawks (Sun Valley, CA)
The Hawks now possess a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community Charter for a North Valley battle on Friday, January 13. North Valley Military Institute will confront a Titans team coming off a 52-42 league win over Valley Oaks CES (Sun Valley, CA). The Titans record now stands at 1-1.
The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Triumph Charter (Sylmar, CA). The Jaguars come into the North Valley battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Triumph Charter edged Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA), 64-49, in a non-league battle.
