Virginia High School Basketball - Loudoun County nudges Rock Ridge

In Wednesday's league outing, the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), by a margin of 51-47.
The Captains (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride go into the Dulles outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Heritage held off Dominion (Sterling, VA), 63-60, in a league outing.
The Phoenix now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Lightridge for a Dulles outing on Friday, January 13. Rock Ridge will clash with a Bolts squad coming off a 47-46 league loss to Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA). The Bolts record now stands at 4-9.
