California High School Basketball - Narbonne thwarts San Pedro

The Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), 84-68 in Wednesday's league test.
The Gauchos (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Gardena (Gardena, CA). The Panthers go into the Marine test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Gardena notched a victory over Carson (Carson, CA), 72-37, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Dominguez for a Marine test on Friday, January 13. San Pedro will encounter a Lobos squad coming off a 77-49 league win over Banning (Wilmington, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 13-5.
