The Northwest Christian Crusaders basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was nudged 71-64 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles (Phoenix, AZ)
The Eagles now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Scottsdale Christian Academy will battle a Trojans team coming off a 53-51 non-league win over Pima (Pima, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 18-1.
The Crusaders (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Gilbert Christian edged American Leadership Academy - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ), 79-52, in a league battle.
