The Perrydale Pirates basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Oregon School for the Deaf Panthers to 16 in the Pirates league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crosshill Christian for a 1A Casco contest on Thursday, January 12. Perrydale will meet a Eagles team coming off a 51-40 league win over Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.

With the defeat, Oregon School for the Deaf moves to 0-7 on the year. The Panthers host Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR) to face the Eagles in a 1A Casco game on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 10-3. Crosshill Christian won 48-39 in their recent league game against Perrydale (Amity, OR)
