The Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) basketball crushed the host Portsmouth West Senators (West Portsmouth, OH), 61-35 in Wednesday's league test.
The Indians (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (McDermott, OH). The Mohawks go into the Southern Ohio II test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Northwest walloped Eastern (Beaver, OH), 61-55, in a league test.
The Senators now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host South Webster for a Southern Ohio II test on Friday, January 13. Portsmouth West will encounter a Jeeps squad coming off a 42-28 league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH). The Jeeps record now stands at 8-3.
