Virginia High School Basketball - Warhill ripped by Smithfield

The Smithfield Packers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Warhill Lions to 42 in the Packers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Packers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bruton for a Bay Rivers contest on Friday, January 13. Smithfield will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-47 league loss to New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.
The Lions (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Rams enter the Bay Rivers contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Lafayette triumphed over Poquoson (Poquoson, VA), 40-30, in a league contest.
