The Pacheco Panthers basketball team scored 32 points and held the visiting Davis Spartans to 29 in the Panthers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain House for a contest on Friday, January 13. Pacheco will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 71-14 league win over Los Banos (Los Banos, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.

The Spartans (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Beyer (Modesto, CA). The Patriots enter the contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Beyer was nudged by Lathrop (Lathrop, CA), 60-31, in a league contest.
