La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA), 60-25 in a league bout.

With the win, La Canada upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Monrovia (Monrovia, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Monrovia lost 53-40 in their recent league bout against South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Temple City Rams (Temple City, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. South Pasadena will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 82-12 non-league win over Duarte (Duarte, CA).
