California High School Basketball - Lassen tops Anderson

January 11, 2023: Anderson, CA 96007

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) and the host Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), saw Lassen's basketball squad knock off Anderson by a count of 72-52.

With the victory, Lassen upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to encounter the Miners in a Northern test on Friday, January 13. The Miners go into the test with a record of 10-7. Yreka lost 63-55 in their recent league test against University Prep (Redding, CA)

The Cubs now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Valley for a Northern test on Friday, January 13. Anderson will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 56-46 league win over Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
