Arizona High School Basketball - Apache Junction trounced by Coronado

The Coronado Dons routed the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors basketball team by a final score of 64-29 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Dons face the Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon game, on Thursday, January 12. Coronado will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 72-21 league win over Cortez (Phoenix, AZ).

With the defeat, Apache Junction moves to 1-14 on the year. The Prospectors host Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to face the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon game on Thursday, January 12. The Demons enter the game with a record of 8-8. Dysart won 61-9 in their recent league game against Tempe (Tempe, AZ)
