The Avon Lake Shoremen basketball team (Avon Lake, OH), dropped 56-40 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH)
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berea for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Olmsted Falls will battle a Braves team coming off a 58-30 non-league loss to Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH). The Braves record now stands at 0-1.
The Shoremen (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Rangers come into the Southwestern battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, North Ridgeville prevailed over Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH), 49-31, in a league battle.
