The Brooke Bruins basketball team (Wellsburg, WV), dropped 53-41 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV)
The Cadets now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnesville for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Linsly will battle a Shamrocks team coming off a 35-26 non-league loss to Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH). The Shamrocks record now stands at 4-10.
The Bruins (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Bees come into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, East Fairmont prevailed over Lincoln (Shinnston, WV), 68-58, in a league battle.
