California Academy of Math & Science Rebels (Carson, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA), 50-30 in a league bout.

With the win, California Academy of Math & Science upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Rebels host New Roads (Santa Monica, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Coastal bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators (Hawthorne, CA) in a Coastal bout, on Friday, January 13. New Roads will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
